"Secret Service of the Air", 1939, starring our future President, Ronald Reagan. Reagan plays a pilot-Secret Service agent in what was a series of movies with him in various adventures tracking down smugglers and spies. In the first film of the series he pilots a Pan Am-type M-130 Clipper- (actually it was the exact same movie set used in the Bogart "China Clipper" film, including the airline uniforms.) His buddies (Larry Williams and Eddie Foy, Jr.) are unhappy because Reagan is announcing that he is leaving the airline to go work for the government. |
