The B-314 "Honolulu Clipper" in drab wartime paint

scheme- a flat dark gray with flat white underneath.

It still has the American flag and Pan Am logo but they are in flat paint. The "Honolulu Clipper" survived the entire war only to suffer a freak accident after an emergency landing near Hawaii and the crippled plane had to be sunk.

Under a tow attempt by a Navy ship, the B-314 had a wing bashed and under rough sea conditions the decision was made to sink it by gunfire.
